We currently have an employment opportunity for a full time Imaging Repair Specialist at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center located in Corvallis, a thriving community of approx 53,000 and home of Oregon State University. Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field or military equivalent required. Two (2) years experience in the maintenance and repair of imaging / radiology equipment required. Advanced knowledge and understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology required. Ability to read and interpret various types of schematic drawings required. Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems to component level required. Advanced soldering technique required. Advanced knowledge of Radiation Safety principles and practices required. Must be Proficient at operating computers and able to troubleshoot both hardware and software problems. Must have a current Oregon Drivers license.
Experience working on CT and/or Nuclear Medicine preferred. Strong computer networking skills desired. Must be able to work independently.
