Experienced Sleep Technologist (RRT or RN) Entry-level may be considered w/training provided
SleepTech currently has opportunities to join the most well supported team of overnight sleep technologists in the country. We will consider qualified entry-level or experienced candidates. Our sleep technologists work 4 overnight shifts each week (8p- a) in our modern, hi-tech sleep center. Working with very low patient-to-technologist ratios (2:1), our technologists are responsible for running noninvasive diagnostic sleep studies. Monitoring major body functions such as cardiac rhythm, respiration, neurologic activity and muscular movement will be focused on as well as basic vital signs and other areas of patient care.
Experienced sleep technologists will appreciate the strong support of our knowledgeable clinical and technical "oncall" management team. Getting help when you need it from supervisors is what our employees love most about working with SleepTech. Additionally, our CEC opportunities are presented with "real world" goals in mind. Even our clinical meetings are submitted for CEC approval!
We desire a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in sleep medicine as well as a background in respiratory therapy or nursing. Entry-level candidates may be considered for OJT opportunities on an individual basis. All candidates must demonstrate a history of commitment to schedule, reliability and flexibility as our schedules rotate from week to week and may include some weekend shifts in the future. Minimum education requirements include a high-school diploma (or equivalent) as well as completion of an accredited allied health training program in respiratory therapy or nursing. Current licensure and registration in the state of MA are mandatory in the areas of nursing (RN) or respiratory therapy (RRT) and must be in good standing.
